Eowyn Ahlstrom, RYT, LMT is opening Middle Path for Healing Arts downstairs in The White Elephant. She has trained extensively in yoga, massage therapy and insight meditation. Her studies have included workshops with John Friend and Rodney Yee and at the Insight Meditation Center in Barre. Her massage therapy training was at Stillpoint. She will be teaching a Yoga and Meditation class Wednesday morninghs at 9:00 AM. Any White Elephant yogis are entitled to a discount on their first massage at Middle Path Healing Arts. Brandy Lefsyk, The Traveling Yogi, is traveling to The White Elephant! She teaches Saturday mornings from 9:00 to 10:30 AM. Brandy has a degree in Exercise Science and Fitness Leadership. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher with over 500 hrs. of training, and a member of the Yoga Alliance. Jo Ellen Boskind offers "Introduction to Insight Meditation" on Monday evenings from 6:30-8:00 PM in 6 week segments. Each six-week course offers a basic introduction to meditation for beginners and ongoing instruction for those familiar with the practice. Both formal meditation and integration of mindfulness into daily life are emphasized. Jo Ellen has been practicing meditation for 9 years and is a student of Buddhist psychology.
